Aprašymas

You thought you knew your most trusted friend...

When toxicologist Dino Stampa's daughter is rushed to the ER with a life-threatening liver injury, his scientific instincts tell him her illness may be more than a medical mystery. Then a baffling mass die-off of fish and wildlife devastates a coastal neighborhood in Southwest Florida, and Dino becomes convinced the two crises share a hidden cause.

Authorities are slow to connect the dots, but Dino suspects the danger is deliberate-and still unfolding. Every lead pulls him closer to a group of environmental activists recently connected to Darrell, his closest friend.

As loyalty and suspicion collide, Dino must decide whether Darrell is an innocent bystander, a man in too deep, or something far more dangerous. When a bioterrorist threat emerges, Dino has no choice but to risk everything to stop a catastrophe before it is too late.
